After injection into the armpits, palms or feet, the active composition effectively blocks nerve receptors. Both drugs contain botulinum toxin, but Botox is produced in the USA, Dysport - in France. The first product is more concentrated - it contains 2.5 times more active substance and the cost of this drug is much higher. In terms of action, both drugs are almost identical and are leveled out by the number of injected units: Botox is smaller but more expensive, Dysport is larger and cheaper, due to the larger number of injected units, Dysport is not inferior in quality and concentration of botulinum toxin to Botox! The drugs differ in the types of auxiliary components. So, Botox contains sodium chloride, and Dysport contains lactose.
