Safe filler correction: reviews of Aspire and others

Unfortunately, sooner or later, most of us notice that with age, the skin loses its elasticity, wrinkles appear on the forehead, and nasolabial folds begin to appear more clearly. However, pronounced “nasolabial lips,” as they are popularly called, can be a congenital defect in appearance, sometimes quite noticeable and unesthetically pleasing.

When we are still quite young, we don’t want to resort to radical actions like plastic surgery, so we are looking for less complicated ways to change our appearance . One of the most successful and effective methods of combating the first wrinkles and deep nasolabial folds can be called fillers.

Composition of filler Estefil

AestheFill®️ filler consists of polylactic acid (a thermoplastic and biodegradable polylactide). Through hydrolysis, polylactide breaks down into glycogen and lactic acid and is excreted from the body naturally, which means there is no danger to the body.

The effective process of tissue renewal, collagen formation and production of hyaluronic acid by mature skin cells is due to the porous structure of the drug: skin cells work both outside and inside Estefil microspheres. This is why the use of AestheFill®️ leads to the restoration of lost volumes and smoothing out even the deepest wrinkles.

The drug does not contain protein components that can lead to allergic reactions. There are also no side effects if the injections were performed by an experienced and qualified certified physician.

First results in 6 months

  • In March, we assessed the results.
  • All our patients are concerned about the skin on the hands and décolleté, inner thighs and abdomen.
  • Repeated procedures are prescribed for patients over 60 years of age in the neck area.
  • The results become noticeable only after 2 months!

AestheFill®️ is absolutely safe

Confirmed by histological studies.

The main component of the drug, a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer, has been used in the medical industry for many years.

The drug stimulates collagen synthesis and the formation of new dermal tissue.

▪️2 weeks after introduction:

New cells are synthesized on the framework of polylactic acid (PLA) particles, gradually filling the empty space between the spheres.

▪️8 weeks after introduction:

Filling of voids with new tissues and cells, cells penetrate into the porous particles of PLA.

▪️12 weeks after introduction:

Cells actively penetrate and move between porous PLA particles.

AestheFill®️ works only at the injection site and does not migrate between tissues.

Polylactic acid particles introduced into the skin remain in the same layer, without penetrating into other tissues, until absorption (2-4 weeks).

The effectiveness of AestheFill®️ filler

The effectiveness of the drug is primarily due to the innovative structure of the particles: spherical microspheres.

The visible effect increases after the procedure and lasts from 18 months to 2 years.

AestheFill®️ in combination with hardware and all types of invasive techniques: botulinum therapy, threads - gives a synergistic effect.

Types of biosynthetic fillers

There are many types of this drug, the best are considered biosynthetic : the natural components in their composition are favorably perceived by the human body.

  • Collagen based. They are made from leather, cartilage, and animal skins. Do not cause allergic reactions.
  • Based on human tissue. The safest type, since injections do not introduce foreign substances into the human body. However, due to the high price, this type is not readily available.
  • Based on hyaluronic acid. The best type of filler for nasolabial folds. Causes the production of its own collagen, hypoallergenic. But it is short-lived, after six months it is destroyed and requires repeated injections.
  • Combined gels, which contain both synthetic and biological components. They retain the effect longer, but can cause allergies.

It goes without saying that when deciding to undergo filler injections, you should carefully choose not only the specialist, but also the manufacturer. The result and its durability largely depend on the quality of the filler used. It would be useful to read reviews about various fillers and their effects, for example, about the popular Aspire, which has established itself as a high-quality drug with excellent properties. This filler has a unique composition, which contains special biomimetric peptides that help produce your own collagen by 80% or more while the drug is in the body, so reviews of the Aspire drug are invariably positive.

I am skeptical about new products, but I decided to try this filler. Its components, as stated in the annotation, help slow down skin aging, and there are several types, you can choose the one that suits your problem. I didn’t regret my choice for a second - the effect was visible immediately, the skin was elastic, wrinkles and crow’s feet disappeared, the face acquired freshness, smoothness, the always gloomy appearance due to creases on the forehead and deep nasolabial lips was replaced by a pleasant, open, friendly one. In general, I recommend it!

Contraindications to contour plastic surgery with Estefil filler:

  • Presence of autoimmune diseases;
  • Epilepsy;
  • Viral or infectious diseases;
  • Hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to the components of the drug;
  • Hemophilia, a bleeding disorder;
  • Inflammatory processes and/or permanent fillers at injection sites;
  • Pregnancy or lactation period;
  • Herpes is in the acute stage.

About the procedure

Estefil is a dry substance found in a bottle. Diluted with water for injection + lidocaine to make the procedure painless

The volume of the injected drug is 20 milliliters (regular hyaluronic acid filler 1 mil)

Injected with a “blunt-nosed” needle, it avoids traumatic tissue cutting, so bruising is rare, and the procedure is comfortable for the patient.

Recommended course

1-3 sessions, the break between them is 4-6 months;

When will the result be visible?

It becomes possible to notice improvements and the effect of the drug after the first procedure. Skin thickening under the influence of Estefil has a cumulative effect. This means that over time, the effect of the drug increases due to the gradual accumulation of collagen and hyaluronic acid.

A week after the injections, a slight loss of volume is possible due to the removal of water used to dissolve the drug. However, this does not in any way affect the quality of the result.

Using fillers based on hyaluronic acid, you can remove

Wrinkles of anger (wrinkles between the eyebrows)
The habit of frowning the eyebrows leads to the formation of deep wrinkles in the area between the eyebrows, which gives the face an unfriendly appearance and adds age.
Hyaluronic fillers can gently smooth out even pronounced eyebrow wrinkles from the inside. Nasolabial folds
When the amount of collagen and elastin in the skin decreases over time, almost everyone develops so-called nasolabial folds - pronounced wrinkles that stretch from the wings of the nose to the corners of the lips. Fillers based on hyaluronic acid injected into these areas can remove these unpleasant wrinkles, giving the face a healthy appearance and a youthful oval without any signs of age-related changes.

Marionette wrinkles

There are wrinkles that, due to their severity, make the face sad and tired. These are the so-called marionette lines, which stretch from the corners of the lips to the chin. With the help of fillers, they can be targeted for correction. Hyaluronic acid is harmoniously distributed in the skin and smoothes wrinkles.

"Crow's Feet"

Wrinkles radiating from the corners of the eyes usually give the face a tired look, adding many years at once. A restorative course is carried out using injections. After this, your face will look much younger and fresher. And the crow's feet will disappear!

Using hyaluronic acid fillers you can also correct:

Lip shape

With age, lips lose volume and shape, appear thin and asymmetrical. Due to hyaluronic injections, lips not only become fuller, but also acquire a clear contour. Hyaluronic acid also fills and reduces fine lines around the lips.

Neck and décolleté area

On the neck, as well as in the décolleté, age-related changes are sometimes noticeable even more often and more clearly than on the face. Therefore, these delicate areas require care first of all. When using dermal fillers, wrinkles are delicately filled and smoothed. As a result, the skin of the neck and décolleté again looks smoother and much younger.

Advantages of contouring with Estefil filler at the Medical Cosmetology Center:

  • High qualification
  • Extensive experience of doctors

AestheFill®️ certified trainer A.A. Kodyakov works with difficult areas.

1. During the consultation, the doctor examines and evaluates problem areas, determines the indications and the presence of contraindications for use, based on the patient’s well-being

2.Skin cleansing

3. Pain relief - local anesthetic

4.Introduction of the drug at different levels of the dermis: superficially or more deeply. Aesthefill fills skin voids and evenly compensates for missing tissue volume.

5.After the procedure, no special rehabilitation is required. It is enough to follow the simple rules used for rehabilitation after all contouring procedures.

Black market for beauty products: who buys fillers on the Internet and why

Selling hyaluronic acid fillers online is dangerous and illegal. However, despite all the risks, many, wanting to save money, still buy drugs on dubious sites, and some go so far as to inject themselves themselves. SPLETNIK.RU, together with experts, explains why this should not be done under any circumstances.

We live in amazing times. The Internet, on the one hand, is a place where you can find practically any information; in addition, there are microblogs in which opinion leaders share their recommendations and encourage people to buy this or that product. Finally, there is a global e-commerce market where you can order lipstick from the other side of the world with just one click.

However, there is a downside to all these amazing technological advances. Experts have noticed a dangerous trend - the black market for beauty products is growing exponentially.

Despite warnings from Roszdravnadzor that the safety of medical products, including implantable ones (fillers, mesothreads), as well as drugs for performing injection cosmetic procedures (Botox, mesotherapy and other “beauty injections”), must be confirmed by a registration certificate, some all they decide to save on their health. More and more people prefer to have beauty injections not in the offices of certified cosmetologists, but at home. The trend of people buying injectables online and injecting themselves isn't new, but it's picking up steam this year, says Hollywood dermatologist Nancy Samolitis.

She explains this by saying that in online stores you can find counterfeit fillers to suit every taste (and budget), and video tutorials on YouTube or on social networks will tell you how to handle this or that drug.

One of the best dermatologists in New York, Dhaval Bhanusali, warns: I'm not sure how legal it is, but injections in one's own kitchen are being done more and more often, which is terrible from the point of view of the safety of such handmade procedures. Judging by the comments of a number of other dermatologists, most often They inject themselves into the lower half of the face (smile area, jaw and lips).

This is the most dangerous trend I have heard of in years. And how many self-taught cosmetologists without medical training inject fillers into their own lips, cheekbones, under the eyes and even the nose, says Lara Devgan, a board-certified plastic surgeon from New York.

The Imitation Game

I have a patient whose friend gave her lip injections. As she said, it was the popular drug Juvederm. According to her, the box with a barcode said Juvéderm, but it turned out that it was a fake, and inside was a silicone-based drug. She then had to have the filler surgically removed, says Susan Bard, a board-certified dermatologist in New York City.

I recently saw a young man who purchased filler online and tried to inject it into his under-eye area, says Thomas Adrian, a dermatologist in Washington, DC.

Needless to say, he came to me concerned that the filler had caused bumps and lumps, and the drug had also caused an allergic reaction in him, he added.

I was once approached by a patient who wanted to remove “bumps” in her lips that arose after the injection of filler. Her friend performed the procedure. I injected several times with hyaluronidase, a drug that dissolves hyaluronic fillers, but to no avail. I suspect that it was silicone that was introduced,

- says board-certified dermatologist Mariana Atanasovski.

We can go on and on. There are many similar examples.

One-click purchase

Where do people most often buy fillers? Just ask Google. A huge selection of counterfeit fillers can be found on the Chinese website Alibaba, and a fairly large assortment on Amazon (we did not find such drugs on the Russian Avito and Yula).

Chicago-based board-certified dermatologist Danny S. Del Campo confirms that the filler can be purchased on Amazon: Over the past few weeks, I've gotten four calls from four girls who purchased injectable filler online. They bought it on Amazon: without documents, without a pharmaceutical license. The selected product was delivered in two days! Usually on sites where such products are advertised, there are descriptions of the product and even positive reviews. Some fillers can be produced under all well-known brand names, for example, Juvéderm or Restylane; the average person is unlikely to distinguish them from the original. According to the expert, the average price for a syringe with such a drug is no more than one hundred dollars. Most of them are illegally imported from Asia and Eastern Europe.

Representatives of Galderma (manufacturer of Restylane) and Allergan (manufacturer of Juvéderm) are aware of the existing problem.

Both companies confirmed that they sell their products directly only to licensed professionals, including dermatologists, plastic surgeons and physicians. In other words, any injectables you see online are most definitely not being sold directly from the manufacturer. Does this mean they are fakes? Maybe yes, maybe no. In any case, risking your beauty and health is not the best option.

Administration technique

It may seem obvious, but attempting to inject yourself with any kind of filler—even if it's licensed and purchased directly from the manufacturer—is an incredibly dangerous undertaking for many reasons. YouTube videos and social media posts give the illusion that everything is quite easy and simple, but this is not the case.

It looks easy because we make it easy. But injections of fillers or Botox are extremely complex and require in-depth knowledge of physiology. Facial anatomy is extremely complex. We train for years to learn how to administer drugs correctly and safely, says one expert.

Doctors used to call the nasolabial triangle (trigonum mortis) the triangle of death. Because vessels that feed the brain pass through here. Thus, if one of them is damaged during the procedure, the consequences can be very tragic: from scar formation to tissue necrosis and blindness.

Risks

The main danger is that when buying filler on the Internet, you cannot know for sure what it consists of. Even if the packaging says that it contains hyaluronic acid, in reality it may contain silicone (including that not intended for use in aesthetic cosmetology) or non-sterile ingredients. They can cause an allergic reaction or cause infection, scarring, and so on.

When something goes wrong and the injected drug needs to be removed, doctors administer the enzyme hyaluronidase. Now cosmetologists are increasingly using it to dissolve excess hyaluronic acid filler. But it is powerless against silicone.

What awaits us in the future

Unfortunately, experts are confident that the black market for beauty products will only grow. They hope that increased awareness of the situation will lead online retailers to be more vigilant about the presence of illegal products on their sites. But often the reality is that when one ad is removed, another immediately appears in its place.

How to avoid becoming a victim of dangerous beauty counterfeits

Due to the increasing number of complications after injection cosmetic procedures (the most common of them are inflammatory and allergic reactions, purulent abscesses, ulcers, skin defects), Roszdravnadzor gave several recommendations that will help them not become a victim of beauty.

You need to make sure that the institution has a license to provide medical care - the Unified Register of Licenses can be found in the public domain on the Roszdravnadzor website.

Secondly, procedures must be performed only at the address specified in the license.

Cosmetic injection therapy in domestic conditions, at home or in organizations that do not have the appropriate license is an illegal activity, Roszdravnadzor clarifies.

Thirdly, a cosmetologist must have professional retraining in the specialty “cosmetology”, having previously completed internship or residency in the specialty “dermatovenereology”. A medical organization is required to post information about the professional training of doctors on its official website.

Fourthly, all drugs must have a marketing authorization. You can check the registration of medical devices on the website of Roszdravnadzor, and drugs - in the State Register of Medicines of the Ministry of Health.

Recommendations after the procedure:

  • Refuse to use decorative cosmetics;
  • Do not visit the solarium, swimming pools, baths;
  • Touch injection sites with caution to avoid infection;
  • You should not stay outside for a long time in extremely cold or hot weather conditions;
  • Limit sports activities;
  • Stop drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking.

Structure of PLA (Polylactic acid)

AestheFill is a conceptually new filler, which contains globular (spherical) PLA particles (20% D-lactic acid monomers and 80% L-lactic acid).

PLA provides mechanical stimulation of fibroblasts (“youth cells”), the cytoplasm is activated, and the synthetic processes of collagen, elastin, glycosaminoglycans, metalloproteinases, and enzymes begin in it.

Nanostructruded globules of 40-50 nm are quite dense on the outside and easily allow the drug to be implanted using a cannula into soft tissues without violating the integrity of the globule. The inside of the globule is hollow, like a balloon. The hollow space allows it to stay on the fibroblast, not migrate, and replenish the volume in the depressed area.
