We are talking about this with the famous plastic surgeon, head of RossClinic, Dr. Andrei Vladimirovich Ross. Corr.: Andrey Vladimirovich, what is the fundamental difference between spacelifting and other known methods of surgical facial rejuvenation?

Andrey Ross: Today this is the most modern anti-aging technology. Andrey Ross: The importance of the classic SMAS lift cannot be underestimated. Its era began back in 1976, when the superficial aponeurotic system of the face was discovered and the development of this revolutionary technique for that time began. But science, fortunately, does not stand still. More than 10 years ago, another important discovery was made: scientists discovered that there are so-called sliding spaces on the face. And this became the starting point for the development of a fundamentally new approach to rejuvenation.

Today, space lifting is the most modern method of face lifting, which has proven its highest efficiency and safety over ten years. It gives a very noticeable and natural result, and the risk of complications is reduced to an absolute minimum. Spacefleeting is the beginning of a new era in aesthetic medicine. And the SMAS lift, with all its undeniable advantages, is still a yesterday’s technique.

Corr.: You have already carried out many operations using this technology. How do patients evaluate their results?

Andrey Ross: In all my years of work, I have not received a single negative review. Patients leave the clinic being completely satisfied with the results obtained. And then they often call and share the comments they hear from their loved ones. Sometimes it’s funny: people can’t understand what happened, how did a person they knew so well suddenly become younger and prettier? Spacelifting has become a long-awaited solution to an eternal problem. After all, only this technique combines such a high level of safety, short rehabilitation and maximum effectiveness.
