What should you do during rehabilitation?
In addition to restrictions and prohibitions during the recovery period, skin care recommendations are also prescribed, which must be followed in order to avoid negative consequences.
The following recommendations are prescribed:
- For the first three days, wipe the treated area twice with a disinfectant solution of Chlorhexidine;
- In the first 3-4 days you need to wash your face not with ordinary tap water, but with filtered or bottled water;
- Drink at least 2 liters of clean water every day. This will help to quickly relieve swelling of the skin, which often occurs after injections;
- If bruises occur, apply special preparations to the skin twice a day - Lyoton, Troxevasin, Rescuer, etc.;
- Pay attention to healthy sleep. Do not limit yourself if you want to sleep; daily night rest should exceed 7-8 hours;
- Balance your diet. Include grains, fruits, and vegetables. Avoid eating fat, sugar and flour products, which can only increase side effects after the procedure and slow down natural metabolic processes. In addition, heavy food wastes the body's energy, which should be used for tissue healing.
Most often, there are no serious side effects after the procedure; only a side reaction of the skin to mechanical action is possible, which manifests itself in the form of redness and increased sensitivity. However, if irritation, burning, rash or other signs of an allergic reaction occur, it is important to consult a dermatologist.
It is important to follow all recommendations when taking a mesotherapy course, paying attention to them after each session.
Contraindications to the procedure
Absolute contraindications
for mesotherapy there are only two:
- blood clotting disorder;
- disruption of scarring processes.
There are a number of relative contraindications, in the presence of which it is better to refrain from the procedure:
- pregnancy and lactation;
- inflammatory processes on the face;
- diabetes;
- acute viral infections;
- exacerbation of chronic diseases;
- presence of neoplasms.
The decision on admission to manipulation in the presence of a particular disease is decided individually in a preliminary consultation with a cosmetologist.
