Fractional photothermolysis and laser resurfacing are names for the same process aimed at rapid skin rejuvenation with long-lasting effects, as well as the removal of age spots, expression lines and senile wrinkles, scars and stretch marks using a fractional laser.

The principle of laser resurfacing is simple: the skin is exposed to microtraumas, and its cells are activated to eliminate them. As a result, the skin becomes elastic, smoother, and its color improves.

The fractional thermolysis technique has been successfully practiced all over the world for many years and has maximum effectiveness in the field of non-surgical rejuvenation and non-surgical tightening of the skin of the face and body.

WHAT IS FRACTIONAL REJUVENATION

Fractional rejuvenation with a CO2 laser Asklepion “Multipulse” is a modern safe and effective method of non-surgical skin rejuvenation.

The laser beam delicately penetrates the skin and, smoothing it out, launches an active process of self-rejuvenation. The skin is tightened, smoothed, becomes elastic and saturated with moisture. Expression wrinkles and pores are smoothed out, and the facial contour is noticeably tightened. Skin rejuvenation occurs before your eyes: it takes on a fresh, healthy appearance. With the help of fractional laser facial rejuvenation, you can not only remove facial wrinkles and dilated capillaries, but also make the facial contour clearer.

The most important difference between laser resurfacing and fractional rejuvenation is in the operating mode of the laser beam. Resurfacing uses a continuous, full beam that destroys all skin cells in a flat, continuous pattern. The fractional rejuvenation regime involves exposure to an intermittent, divided laser beam, which creates a “grid” pattern. A thin beam (can be compared in thickness to a human hair) creates many small, deep (the entire thickness of the dermis) holes - zones of damage, between which areas of undamaged tissue are preserved.

THE RESULT IS IN YOUR FACE

The effect of CO2 laser rejuvenation is noticeable after the first procedure: the oval of the face is tightened, the skin becomes smooth, pores are narrowed, and wrinkles are smoothed out.

The results of fractional laser peeling are clinically confirmed:

  • slowing down the aging process;
  • noticeable lifting effect;
  • rejuvenation of the face, upper and lower eyelids;
  • getting rid of deep wrinkles;
  • improvement of skin tone and texture;
  • rejuvenation of the neck, décolleté, and hands;
  • correction of scars, scars, incl. obsolete.

WHEN IS FRACTIONAL REJUVENATION NEEDED?

In response to damage in neighboring (healthy, undamaged) areas, young cells of the superficial and deep layers of the skin are activated, which trigger restoration processes. The result is rejuvenation, improvement of blood supply and skin quality: optical smoothing of skin texture, smoothing of facial wrinkles, reduction of pores, increase in turgor, elasticity and color.

Also, fractional rejuvenation is an effective remedy in the fight against (stretch marks) stretch marks and scars.

Stretch marks on the skin (or stretch marks) often occur due to a sudden change in body weight, for example, during pregnancy, lactation, during adolescence, in athletes. Strong skin tension causes rupture of dermal fibers, which leads to the appearance of flat atrophic scars - striae. During laser rejuvenation, the upper layers of the skin are removed, the surface is smoothed, regeneration processes are activated, as a result of which stretch marks on the body decrease in size, fade, and become less noticeable. Several procedures may be required to completely smooth the skin surface. It is especially effective to perform fractional rejuvenation 6 months after childbirth - this allows you to almost completely eliminate stretch marks on the abdomen.

Scars and scars are not very aesthetically pleasing. The cinematic phrase of brutal heroes that scars adorn men is a thing of the past. Laser medicine is absolutely effective and painless in getting rid of scars, which are “officially” called scars. Even after the first session of fractional rejuvenation, the scar will become much less noticeable and pale, but, as a rule, a course of procedures is needed to get rid of this problem completely.

FRACTIONAL REJUVENATION REVIEWS

“I work in a clinic myself, I see results on other people. I realized that you can change what age has ruined. In the spring, plastic surgeon Maria Grigorievna Levitskaya gave me a fractional rejuvenation session. I survived the first 4 days with swelling, beauty was ahead... My skin changed a lot, fine wrinkles and pigmentation disappeared, I stopped using foundation, everything became so great! But in the fall, the skin became dull and the turgor decreased slightly. After the second procedure I look 10 years younger, hooray! Great technique!! Thanks to the hands that carried out the procedure! I’ll repeat it again in a month!” I.B., 55 years old.

What is the advantage of fractional photothermolysis over radio wave and photolifting?

Fractional photothermolysis, unlike laser resurfacing, does not remove the epidermis immediately over the entire surface of the skin, but “fractionally” - in uniform micro-areas, each a fraction of a millimeter in size. Moreover, since there is no extensive wound surface, and intact skin is preserved between micro-areas, healing occurs quickly and without negative consequences. The basis of the widely advertised photo and radio wave lifting is the heating of collagen fibers, without removing the epidermis.

HOW IS THE FRACTIONAL REJUVENATION PROCEDURE?

In our clinic, fractional rejuvenation is performed on an outpatient basis, under local anesthesia and lasts 30-60 minutes (depending on the number of treated areas). After the procedure, the patient immediately leaves the clinic and can return to their normal lifestyle. Discomfort or moderate pain (the sensation is similar to a burning sensation after a severe sunburn) persists for 2-3 hours and can be easily relieved with conventional anti-inflammatory drugs (nise, ketanol, ketanov, etc.) and creams. Redness lasts 1-2 days, after which peeling appears. Full recovery occurs after 4-5 days. Skin care after the procedure does not require special skills: the first few days the cream is applied every hour, and in subsequent days the interval increases.

When using gel with fibroblasts immediately after the procedure, the rehabilitation period is reduced by 3 times!

Fractional rejuvenation is performed during the period of low sun activity from September to March (inclusive). Renewed skin is initially tender and vulnerable, so active sun rays can injure it and cause unwanted reactions. For a lasting anti-aging effect, it is advisable to perform 2-3 procedures on the face and 3-5 on the neck and décolleté per season with an interval of 1.5-2 months. An important feature of the fractional rejuvenation method is the presence of a noticeable result after the first procedure. By laser removing old layers of skin, you will stimulate collagen production, resulting in firmer, younger-looking skin again and again.

Fractional rejuvenation can be performed in the neck and décolleté, hands and especially sensitive areas - around the eyes and lips. As practice shows: those who have gone through this procedure once will not want to part with their new beautiful appearance. And patients who once came for a fractional rejuvenation procedure at the Abrielle clinic become our good friends and regular clients.

Indications for using the method

Fractional facial rejuvenation opens up wide opportunities for the fastest and most effective elimination of the following appearance defects:

  • Age-related changes, creases and wrinkles.
  • Pronounced texture, unevenness of the skin.
  • Oily, porous skin, enlarged pores.
  • Post-acne.
  • Scars, including keloids, on the face and body.
  • Stretch marks (striae).
  • Pigmentation of various origins.
  • Dull, gray complexion.
  • Vascular problems.
  • Sluggish, flabby tissue due to decreased collagen production.

This effective technique helps to cope with local defects without resorting to serious cosmetic interventions with long recovery. For example, fractional eye rejuvenation can help delay blepharoplasty surgery by eliminating lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

VIDEO ABOUT HOW FRACTIONAL REJUVENATION TAKES PLACE

To summarize, we can say that fractional rejuvenation is a low-traumatic procedure, after which the skin quickly and easily recovers, as small areas of damage alternate with areas of healthy tissue. A huge number of microflares permeate the skin, the action of the laser on the cells activates the production of new collagen, which is responsible for the youth and elasticity of the skin. This is a classic weekend routine! The effect of healing and facial lifting lasts a long time - fractional laser, acting on the skin from the inside, triggers the natural processes of its restoration and rejuvenation.

If you decided to start a new life on Monday, impressing your work colleagues with your transformation in the morning, we are waiting for you on Thursday, at the Abrielle clinic!
