Amalain (Amaline) filler: varieties, indications, reviews

The external genitalia is an intimate area of the body, that is, hidden from prying eyes. The genitals perform a thermal and protective function, create a barrier to the penetration of pathogenic flora into the vagina, eliminate sexual dysfunction due to dryness of the vaginal mucosa, gaping of the genital slit, painful postoperative scars after perineotomy and ruptures during childbirth. Many patients are not ready for major surgery. Today, radical methods have an alternative - intimate contouring or injection correction of the external genitalia with gels and autoplasma (PRP therapy).

What is Amaline filler?

Amaline preparations were developed in 2004 and are manufactured by NMTC International. The main component of the filler is hyaluronic acid. It is synthesized based on a substance produced by the body, so it is well suited for use for cosmetic purposes. The products have passed all the necessary laboratory tests for safety, which is confirmed by the relevant certificates and license.

The Amalain-biorevitalization procedure normalizes the content of hyaluronic acid in the skin when the production of this substance is insufficient. Noticeable changes occur after the first procedure, and the effect of the course lasts up to one and a half years.

BDDE ester is used to bind the parts of the acid molecule together. It gives the product a viscous texture, allowing it to maintain the desired shape and not be redistributed arbitrarily after administration. The toxicity of the substance is insignificant, so its use is safe even for thin skin around the eyes. The drug is not rejected by body tissues due to synthetic components that the immune system does not recognize as foreign. The filler hardens into a gel state, which ensures lasting correction of not only the depth of wrinkles, but also the shape of the face.

Its use in cosmetology and plastic surgery

Hyaluronic acid has been used in mesotherapy for quite some time. It is known that this substance ensures normal water balance of the skin and promotes the production of collagen and elastin fibers. However, the body produces it in quite sufficient quantities.

The fact is that with age, skin cells produce in greater quantities a special enzyme - hyaluronidase, which destroys acid. This substance is the other side of the water balance, since excess water is also undesirable. The enzyme reacts by increasing the concentration of hyaluronic acid. Accordingly, when the latter is administered artificially - by injection, hyaluronidase begins to be actively produced and quickly destroys it.

The task of cosmetologists is to modify hyaluronic acid in such a way as to make it as resistant to the action of the enzyme as possible. Specialists from the Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology solved this problem by cross-linking the acid molecule with crosslinkers - cross-linking molecules. In this case, the compound forms a three-dimensional polymer structure, which turns out to be much more resistant to the action of the enzyme. In addition, the spatial structure makes the substance more resistant to the action of free radicals.

The structure has a fairly large area, which also contributes to the stability of the connection. As a result, the combination of these 3 factors ensures long-term preservation of hyaluronic acid, and, therefore, long-lasting rejuvenation results.

It is also worth considering one more feature of the drug: Amaline soft gel particles have a very small size - 30–100 microns, unlike most other products, where the particle size reaches 20–870 microns. Such a finely dispersed homogeneous structure allows you to achieve the most uniform distribution.

In cosmetology, Amaline soft is used for biorevitalization, mesotherapy, and facial contouring. In this case, the following tasks are solved:

  • smoothing wrinkles between the eyebrows;
  • removal of small wrinkles in the forehead area;
  • bioreinforcement of the facial oval;
  • removal of crow's feet and filling of the nasolacrimal trough;
  • smoothing out thin nasolabial folds and small purse-string wrinkles.

In plastic surgery, Amaline soft mesotherapy is used for intensive hydration. In this way, small epidermal wrinkles are eliminated. Mesotherapy is prescribed a certain time after surgery - after swelling is removed, to be more precise.

The minimal number of possible side effects and the almost complete absence of allergic reactions to drugs allows fillers to be considered a worthy alternative to surgical rejuvenation operations.

Description of the procedure

The procedure for introducing plastic fillers or biorevitalizants does not require the client to be hospitalized, so after it he can return to his normal life.

However, there are a number of subtleties that should be observed both before and after the procedure.

Preparation

After the specialist has collected a complete history, which has revealed the possibility of carrying out the procedure, it is necessary to adhere to a number of rules several weeks before the procedure in order to prepare the body.

  • It is not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages or hot, spicy foods at least 7 days before the session.
  • Also, within 3 weeks you will have to stop taking hormonal medications that can change your blood counts.
  • During the day, smoking, as well as physical activity of any kind, is contraindicated.

Introduction technology

Depending on which area will be corrected, the method of performing the procedure will also vary.

  • Linear-retrograde. A common injection technique for the eyes, mouth, cheeks, nasolacrimal groove, chin and décolleté. The result is aimed not only at combating minor defects, but also against fairly deep wrinkles. Includes both fan, mesh and tunnel needle immersion techniques.
  • Bolus. It is used to sculpt the volume of the cheekbones and chin by injecting the drug as deeply as possible into the dermal layers. In some cases, it is possible to distribute the filler on the periosteum.

Duration of action

On average, one session takes 40 minutes. The time may increase depending on the size of the area being corrected, the desired result and the qualifications of the specialist.

The procedure itself consists of several stages.

  1. Cleaning with a special antiseptic.
  2. Anesthesia with targeted cream.
  3. Opening the package and checking expiration dates.
  4. Injection of the drug into the designated area.
  5. Final disinfection.

Indications and contraindications

Procedures using fillers are varied, so the drugs have a large list of indications. These include:

  • signs of aging at any stage (initial, moderate, pronounced);
  • dehydrated skin prone to prolonged peeling;
  • pronounced scars;
  • desire to correct the shape of the nose, lips or face shape;
  • the presence of excessive pigmentation;
  • upcoming or past plastic surgery or a course of aggressive peeling;
  • urological or gynecological problems (for specialized fillers).

If you have one or more indications, you need to contact a cosmetology center for specialist advice. At this stage, possible contraindications to the procedure are clarified. These include:

  • the period of bearing a child and breastfeeding;
  • age under 18 years, in the absence of written consent of the guardian for the procedure;
  • autoimmune pathologies;
  • infectious diseases;
  • allergic reactions to components in the drug or anesthesia;
  • skin pathologies, including violation of the integrity of the skin and dermatological diseases;
  • tendency to develop keloid scars.

If there is any contraindication, the procedure is not performed. A visit to a cosmetologist should be postponed until your health condition allows the use of the drug.

Technique of drug administration

The instructions for the filler indicate how to administer the drug correctly. But for an experienced cosmetologist, the technique has long been known. To do this, use special 2*27G needles or cannulas made of soft material. The use of the latter is preferable: they injure tissue less, which reduces the risk of complications. The injections are made shallow (less than 1.5 mm) so as not to damage the nerves and blood vessels.

There are two methods of correction with fillers. The first is called linear-retrograde and is suitable for the area around the eyes, cheeks, chin and décolleté. Further administration of the drug depends on the affected area:

  • tracing - the needle enters at a small angle, forming a channel that is filled with filler when pulled out (used to correct wrinkles);
  • fan-shaped - several channels extend from one injection in different directions (used to reduce wrinkles around the eyes);
  • mesh - channels are created both parallel to the skin and perpendicular (getting rid of facial wrinkles);
  • tunnel - the channel with this technique has a tortuous structure (suitable for deep changes).

The second option for administering the drug is the bolus technique. It helps create large volume. To do this, the needle passes to the periosteum, where the drug is distributed. This technique is suitable for Amaline medium or hard.

It is impossible to competently carry out the procedure on yourself, so to get a high-quality effect, you should contact specialized salons.

Side effects and complications

The appearance of unpleasant effects is possible due to individual reactions, characteristics of administration or improper use of the product. Physiological reactions include:

  • swelling - disappears in 5 days;
  • hematomas - appear at injection sites and persist for 2-3 days;
  • feeling of numbness - goes away within 7 days, occurs due to receptors becoming accustomed to the drug;
  • soreness and mild itching - appears with a significant change in the shape of the lips, nose or face using fillers, is removed with special creams, and finally disappears in 5-7 days.

There are pathological changes that should not normally occur. This list includes:

  • nerve conduction disorders accompanied by complete loss of sensitivity or numbness;
  • clumping of the drug with the formation of granulomas (corrected by the introduction of an enzyme that breaks down the filler - hyaluronidase);
  • necrosis - the affected area turns blue, sometimes blackens (removal of dead skin is required);
  • fibrosis - the formation of dense areas of tissue not from the drug, but from the subcutaneous tissue.

Complications can be corrected by a surgeon, who should be contacted if they are detected as quickly as possible.

Precautionary measures

After an injection session, it is natural to experience swelling at the injection sites, itching, peeling and bruising.

If you follow all the cosmetologist’s recommendations, the symptoms disappear after 14 days.

Otherwise, the following side effects may occur:

  • asymmetry;
  • large swelling and pronounced hematomas;
  • tissue necrosis;
  • granulomas;
  • deformation and displacement of the filler;
  • redness of the skin;
  • inflammation, the appearance of papules.

If any of the symptoms occur, you should immediately consult a doctor.

It is also possible to eliminate the undesirable result by introducing a drug that breaks down hyaluronic acid, hyaluronidase, under the skin.

You can speed up the process of breaking down hyaluronate through lymphatic drainage massage.

Opinion of cosmetologists

Cosmetologists claim that hyaluronic acid fillers are safer than those previously used. They dissolve without a trace, leaving no traces, and for their urgent removal it is enough to introduce a neutralizer. Russian preparations are perfect for residents of the middle zone, because they were developed taking into account the characteristics of their skin.

The manufacturer of the Amaline series has established itself as a reliable company for the production of anti-aging products. He has been working in the cosmetology market for a long time and is constantly improving his technologies, creating safer products. Therefore, reviews from cosmetologists about their fillers give an unambiguous positive assessment.

Patient reviews on the use of Amalain fillers

Ekaterina, professional experience 32 years, Kazan:

I work as a cosmetologist, I have been using Amaline since the beginning of my activity - 8 years. It has never let me down, always a predictable excellent result. Foreign drugs sometimes gave strange effects in the form of prolonged swelling, but there were no problems with ours.

Lyudmila, 28 years old, Novosibirsk:

I did biorevitalization with Amaline, I really liked it. The skin has stopped flaking and feels nourished, moisturized, and elastic. Good product, I will repeat it.

Antonina, 42 years old, Vyazma:

I chose Amaline because of the price - it is significantly lower than other drugs. And he was able to please me. I didn't even recognize myself in the mirror. Gives very good results. But you need to endure swelling for about a week. I take a vacation after the procedure and sit quietly at home for 5-7 days, and come out already beautiful.

Instructions for use

At the first stage, the fundamental possibility of carrying out the procedure is determined, that is, whether there is an allergy to components or materials, whether there are any systemic diseases, acute inflammatory diseases, and so on. The doctor then determines the most appropriate technique to correct the area.

The procedure lasts 30–40 minutes. No recovery is required after it.

  1. Packages of Amaline soft are stored in the refrigerator. The drugs are removed 20 minutes before the injections.
  2. The packaging is equipped with a sticker indicating the expiration date, batch number, and volume of the drug. The sticker is pasted into the card.
  3. Anesthesia for mesotherapy is not used if fillers with lidocaine are used. Otherwise, the areas around the eyes are treated with cooling solutions or creams like Emla.
  4. The skin on the area is treated with an antiseptic.
  5. A needle or cannula is inserted into the wrinkle and filled with the drug along its entire length. Then a spot correction is performed in order to distribute the drug evenly and avoid the formation of lumps.
  6. After administration, lightly massage the skin around the eyes to distribute the substance.

If necessary, additional correction is allowed after 5–7 days.

Answers on questions

Can I use decorative cosmetics after the procedure?

Due to microtraumas that occur during the administration of the drug, the use of decorative cosmetics is not recommended for a week after the procedure. This will help avoid possible complications such as infection of the papules from injections.

Which is better to choose: Juvederm fillers or Amaline?

It depends on the existing problems and financial capabilities. The Amaline series, although budget-friendly, is effective. Juvederm is much more expensive, but it contains vitamins that help improve the skin from the inside, and not just remove visible defects. When choosing a drug, you should look at your needs and the availability of the required amount of funds for the entire course of procedures.

Do allergic reactions to fillers often occur?

This phenomenon is rare, which is explained by the composition of the drugs. It is based on substances normally found in the body. Therefore, adding them from the outside does not cause rejection; the immune system accepts them as its own. But there are still exceptional cases. This should be taken into account by people with allergies to other medications and anesthesia.
