The basis of lipolytic drugs is soy enzyme or lecithin. It is produced by the human body and promotes the breakdown of fats; lecithin is also present in various products.
In cosmetology, the drug is used in its pure form, and it is also added to various vitamin cocktails that additionally nourish and moisturize the skin.
The duration of the effect after a course of lipolytics depends on the area of administration, on the drug used, on the age and lifestyle of the patient.
Contraindications
- age >18 years;
- individual intolerance to components;
- pregnancy, lactation;
- diseases of the endocrine system;
- autoimmune diseases;
- liver diseases;
- kidney pathologies;
- oncological diseases, tumors;

If there are contraindications, you will be offered an alternative option for facelift.
How do lipolytics work?
Lipolytic drugs are designed to break down adipose tissue. Based on their composition and principle of action, they are divided into direct and indirect. The first group contains phosphatidylcholine, a natural substance involved in fat metabolism. The second group includes enzymes and plant extracts that improve blood circulation and lymph outflow from tissues. Lipolitics are used to remove excess fat from specific areas of the body. These injections are not suitable for general weight loss.
The drugs are administered using syringes and very thin needles. The depth of the injection depends on the location of the problem area and the thickness of the fat layer. Against the background of injections:
- The thickness of the fat layer decreases;
- The shape of a face or figure is modeled;
- Effectively tightens the skin;
- The phenomena of cellulite and fat folds disappear.
With the help of a course of lipolytics, you can reduce your waist or hips by 5-8 cm.
How does the procedure proceed?
Lipolitics for the face are used only as prescribed by a doctor. If there are no contraindications, the cosmetologist cleanses and disinfects the skin. Next, the doctor opens the package with the drug in front of you.
The injection is carried out as follows: the doctor grabs the skin with two fingers so that a fold is formed. The injection is made into this fold. If the correction area is small, the procedure does not last long.
At the end, the cosmetologist disinfects the skin, applies a soothing agent and gives recommendations for home care.
Recovery
Intralipotherapy does not require rehabilitation. After the procedure you may experience:
- redness;
- swelling at the injection sites;
- swelling;
- small bruises.
These effects will go away in the first 3 days. There are no papules on the face after intralipotherapy. As for side effects, Mesoscalpt is absolutely safe for you. In clinical practice and during testing of the composition, not a single case of allergic reactions was recorded.

Recommendations for the first days:
- refrain from excessive physical activity;
- do not use decorative cosmetics;
- do not steam or overcool your face.
During the course of procedures, you cannot go to the solarium or go out in the sun without cream with SPF 50. The bathhouse is also prohibited, as this will reduce the effectiveness of the procedure. During this period, drink at least 2 liters of water per day, try to drink less coffee and alcohol, as they retain fluid in the body.
The cosmetologist will recommend home care products (compresses, creams) that will speed up recovery.
Side effects
In rare cases, you may experience:
- local temperature increase;
- burning sensation;
- nausea and dizziness.
From our own experience, we can say that our patients do not experience the listed complications. It all depends on the drug used, the qualifications of the doctor and the thoroughness of the preliminary diagnosis.
When to expect the effect
Intralipotherapy is carried out in a course. After the first session, the effect of the drug begins - expect the best results after 4-6 procedures at intervals of a week or more. The final effect will be visible 14-21 days after completion of the course.
Intralipotherapy cannot change your weight or solve your obesity problem. If you are overweight, consult an endocrinologist and nutritionist to formulate an effective transformation program.
