A physiotherapeutic procedure saturates tissues with oxygen, strengthens the immune system, activates defense mechanisms in the body, improves metabolism and relieves pain. Ozone therapy alleviates the condition of diabetes, asthma, joint and back diseases. Helps in the prevention of acute respiratory infections, acute respiratory viral infections and coronavirus.

What is the procedure

Ozone therapy involves introducing ozone (O3), a gas that is a reactive form of oxygen, into the body. Anyone who has ever inhaled the air after a thunderstorm is familiar with ozone.

Once in the body, ozone breaks down into ozonides, which saturate the body with oxygen, being the strongest antioxidant, they increase the body’s protective functions, prevent the formation of free radicals and strengthen the immune system.

Ozone therapy of the body is used in the complex treatment of many diseases.

Ozone is introduced into the body intravenously, in the form of a solution by injection, as part of the autohemotherapy procedure, as part of distilled water that the patient drinks, by inhalation, dropper, rectally, applying ozone-rich creams and oils to the skin, taking baths filled with ozonated water and other methods. .

Is mesotherapy better?

These 2 procedures are very popular in cosmetology. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages , but the ultimate goal is to restore and improve the condition of tissues.
In ozone therapy, the main and only active component is ozone. That is, thanks to knowledge of the chemical characteristics of this element and its interaction with other elements, it helps specialists get the maximum effect from the procedure. Thanks to this, the following results are achieved:

  1. Tissues are saturated with oxygen.
  2. Fat deposits are removed.
  3. Metabolic processes are normalized.

Mesotherapy uses natural and synthetic drugs . By combining various options and ingredients, the doctor achieves the desired effect on the skin or a specific area of the body.

That is, ozone therapy acts comprehensively and at the cellular level, in contrast to mesotherapy, which controls the degree of penetration of the selected drug or complex.

The doctor, based on the tests performed, will be able to accurately say which procedure is suitable for a particular person. Mesotherapy, if necessary, can be replaced with ozone therapy or vice versa. But for patients with allergies to certain medications, ozone injections are more suitable, since the risk of developing negative reactions is much lower.

Precautionary measures

It is quite possible to reduce the risk of side effects; to do this, you just need to follow the basic recommendations that the specialist performing the procedure will provide you with. As a rule, the following precautions are typical for the rehabilitation period:

  • limit physical activity (3 - 5 days);
  • give up bad habits (up to 7 days);
  • do not wash your hair (2 days);
  • do not blow dry your hair (5 - 7 days);
  • do not scratch your scalp (2 days);
  • do not use creams, masks, styling products (up to 5 days);

Reviews

After winter, my hair began to fall out a lot. I don’t yet think that I’m too old and this is age-related baldness. I decided to take a course of ozone therapy. I'm deathly afraid of injections, so my choice fell on a cap. The procedure takes about 15 minutes, but there is an unpleasant smell. But overall I was satisfied with the effect.

Maria, 36 years old.

I really didn’t want to lose my hair completely, but going to a cosmetologist wasn’t very convenient either. After all, I’m already an old guy. But I read about ozone therapy on the Internet and decided to try it. Did IVs. I really liked the effect not only on the hair, but also on the body as a whole. It’s as if a second youth has begun.

Marat, 51 years old.

I like to experiment with hair color, so constant dyeing has made it very weak and brittle. I went to a trichologist, he prescribed ozone therapy. The cost pleasantly surprised me and the positive effect was not long in coming.

Anastasia, 28 years old.

Complications

As a rule, the procedure only has a positive effect on the body. Side effects after ozone therapy can only occur if the patient has contraindications or does not follow doctors’ recommendations for care and behavior after the procedure. In these cases, ozone therapy can cause the following complications:

  • redness, inflammation, bruising and blistering at injection sites;
  • painful sensations;
  • allergic reaction;
  • edema;
  • dizziness and headache;
  • convulsions;
  • impaired mobility of arms and legs;

  • blurred vision.

The ozone therapy procedure helps eliminate oxygen starvation of tissues, slow down cell aging, enhance the functions of the immune system, and can improve the condition of patients with chronic back pain caused by intervertebral hernia.
The studies revealed a decrease in the frequency of pain, the severity of pain and a reduction in the size of the hernia. All articles "

How does it work?

The beneficial effects of ozone (highly active oxygen) have been appreciated by a huge number of both patients and specialists, as evidenced by numerous reviews. Ozone therapy affects the skin, and, therefore, the hair follicles located in them, as follows:

  • stimulates blood circulation processes (hair growth);
  • provides oxygen saturation;
  • reduces pain in the presence of injuries, bruises, etc.;
  • removes toxins, harmful substances and waste from local areas of the head;
  • heals existing skin irritations, reduces inflammation, kills fungi and bacteria.

All this ensures increased hair growth and also stops hair loss. In addition, the appearance of your hairstyle is significantly improved; you will be able to observe the necessary density, volume, shine, density and elasticity. Skin diseases usually disappear completely after several sessions.

Recommendations for use

In fact, ozone therapy is a universal method of effective physiotherapeutic treatment with gas, which special devices constantly generate. In addition to its unique healing and restorative capabilities, this gas has an antiseptic effect.

Therefore, we use it in the fight against viruses, fungi, and bacteria.

Trichologists recommend the latest ozone therapy in the following problematic circumstances:

  • insufficient hair growth;
  • extremely poor nutrition of hair follicles;
  • long-term inflammation, traumatic and painful lesions of the hairline;
  • severe hair loss, alopecia and weakening of roots;
  • fungal infections, harmful bacteria, seborrhea, dandruff.

Effect of therapy

The natural result of this treatment is lush hair, shining with beauty and health.

  • Strengthening . This effective method will quickly and completely restore and renew skin cells, thereby significantly strengthening the bulbs, affecting the deepest layers of the epidermis. And clean skin absolutely free of dermatological defects will provide us with such a long-awaited effect for a long time.
  • Nutrition . When hair growth is slow, ozone activates the penetration of nutrients directly into the hair follicles. Therefore, both hair and skin cells are intensively renewed, which means that the follicles become stronger and more viable. This is what improves the hair structure and greatly increases the rate of hair growth.
  • Preservation . In case of intensive hair thinning, only ozone treatment will stop baldness in the shortest possible time due to the life-saving lengthening of the growth phase of each hair. This way we preserve the remaining vegetation, and the cells of the growth zone immediately begin to actively divide, dormant follicles awaken and the accelerated growth of new hairs begins.

STAGE II. DIFFUSE CHINING

A drug:

HYALRIPAYER®-10 Bioreparant.

PTechnology:

classical.

Before performing a trichological session, you must wash your hair (the procedure is carried out on clean, dry hair).

1st substage:

aseptic treatment and cutting of the central parting in the direction from the forehead to the back of the head
(Fig. 2)
. The injections are uniform, strictly perpendicular to the skin with a constant supply of the drug.

2nd sub-stage:

injections over the entire surface of the scalp (Fig. 3).
After the central parting - along the partings drawn from the central parting to the auricles (rows of injections perpendicular to the middle parting). The distance between the injections is 1–1.5 cm, the injection depth is 2 mm (Fig. 4)
.

3rd sub-stage:

after processing all partings on both sides, injections are made along the perimeter of the entire scalp at the border of the hair growth zone and smooth skin (Fig. 5).
The distance between injections is 0.5–1 cm, the depth of injections is 2 mm, the distance between lines is 0.5–1 cm (Fig. 6)
.

STAGE III. TREATING PROBLEM AREAS USING ADDITIONAL TECHNIQUES

A drug:

HYALRIPAYER®-10 Bioreparant.

Techniques:

"papules";
"middle nappage". When treating problem areas (areas of increased hair loss, hair thinning, loss of pigment), it is advisable to make more frequent injections not only in this area, but also covering 1-2 cm of healthy skin. In case of photodamage, the parietal region suffers the most, because it is maximally accessible to direct sunlight (Fig. 7)
.

1st substage: “papule” technique.

“Papules” is a deposition technique that allows you to create a depot of the drug in the problem area, lasting up to two weeks, which allows you to enhance the effect of the procedure. This technique is used in places where the problem is most pronounced: areas of brittleness, thinning hair or pigmentation disorders. To make a “papule,” a needle is inserted into the dermis with the cut up, almost parallel to the surface of the skin, only to the depth of the cut, and the drug is applied. The dose of the administered drug is controlled visually. The size of the resulting “papule” should not exceed 1–2 mm (Fig. 8). The distance between “papules” in the problem area is 0.5–1.0 cm.

2nd substage: “middle nappage” technique.

This technique helps to enhance microcirculation and activate the local immune system of the dermis in the treated area.
Injections are performed with a short needle cut upward at an angle of 30° to the skin surface. The depth of drug administration is the cut of the needle. The distance between the injections is minimal, the injection lines are arranged in the form of a grid, the distance between the lines and injection points is 3–5 mm (Fig. 9)
.

At the end of the procedure, you can perform a light relaxing massage of the scalp.
