How does mattifying treatment work?
It turns out that there are three ways to make your skin matte using cosmetics.
The first is mechanical. We apply substances that absorb (absorb) excess sebum. These are mineral additives such as clay, talc, corn starch, rice powder. They have a large specific surface area: simply put, they have many channels, pores, where this sebum is absorbed. There is also silica or silicon dioxide (Silica), a natural component that is obtained from quartz. Sebum-regulating components include undecylenic acid (Acidum Undecylenicum), zinc salt (Zinc PCA), niacinamide (Niacinamide), sodium gluconate (Sodium Gluconate).
Vitamin F is also useful for sebum regulation (this is the general name for fatty acids: linoleic, linolenic, arachidonic). It liquefies sebum, preventing it from clogging pores and causing inflammation.
The third method is drying with alcohols (Ethanol/Ethyl Alcohol, Methanol) and aggressive surfactants (SLS).
Which method should I choose?
The first two are relatively safe, the third is not: the more we dry the skin, the more oil it produces. Typically, care combines components for mechanical and biological sebum regulation: to get both an immediate and prolonged effect.
How long does it take to see the effect?
With mechanical means the effect will be immediate. If the product involves biological sebum regulation, then on average - four weeks.
Is it possible to overdo it with sebum-regulating agents?
No. They cannot force the skin to stop producing sebum, they only help normalize the process.
Is it possible to make your skin matte once and for all? So that you don't have to worry anymore?
Care helps regulate sebum production and thins fat. If you stop using creams and serums, this effect will persist for some time. But the skin will remain oily. It does not happen that after a course of sebum-regulating agents it becomes normal or dry.
If excess fat was caused by hormonal changes (for example, during puberty), it will decrease over time. But it is impossible to say that this happened only thanks to cosmetics.

Like other types, oily skin has its advantages and disadvantages. It is less susceptible to the negative influence of external factors and early aging, but requires constant high-quality care. Otherwise, blackheads, rashes, and comedones will often appear on the face.
Method number 6. Balanced diet
Not many people know, but the condition of the skin directly depends on nutrition: the fattier the food, the stronger the subcutaneous glands work.
Try to forever give up fried, salty, peppery, spicy foods. If possible, cook dishes in a slow cooker or oven. Create a menu so that it includes meat and fish, baked potatoes, and various types of seafood. Don't forget about seasonal berries and fruits, eat fresh or frozen vegetables, they control your water balance.

Method number 2. Lemon tonic

To prepare the composition, squeeze the juice from half a lemon and add 30 ml to it. vodka and 20 ml. cucumber juice Pour the composition into a dark bottle, seal with a lid, and store in the refrigerator. Clean your skin daily as needed. The composition also fights subcutaneous inflammation, cleanses pores, and normalizes the activity of subcutaneous secretion.

Method number 4. Cosmetic ice
